Fast forward through a lifetime of relationship antics in an hour-and-a-half by taking in California Musical Theatre’s newest show at the Cosmopolitan Cabaret: I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change.

This thoroughly enjoyable production allows you to spend an evening (or afternoon) laughing, commiserating, and nodding in agreement about the travails of dating, relationships, and marriage.

Through short vignettes, the play explores a variety of scenarios that anyone who has been in a relationship (of any sort) can relate to. With four actors assuming myriad roles throughout the length of the play, the scenes are portrayed through quick dialogue and wittily-written songs. The first act covers dating through the wedding day, while act two moves on to married life, kids, divorce, and old age.
