Fireworks

Showing your national pride could never be more fun this Fourth of July weekend!

Not sure how to celebrate the USA’s birthday on Friday? Then check out this lineup of Independence Day events happening all over Sacramento. With amazing fireworks, spectacular parades, social festivities, and more, you’ll be eating, running, and partying before and after the 4th.

Get the party started:
Festivals, pub crawls and laugh-ins will definitely get you in the patriotic spirit.

Red, White and Brews
Old Sacramento; Thurs 7pm-1am
Why wait for the fourth of July when you can party on the third? Old Sacramento bars will be celebrating the holiday early with a 15 bar crawl and drink specials.

Rancho Cordova’s Fourth of July Celebration
Hagan Park; Thurs 4pm-11pm, Fri Noon-11pm
Rancho Cordova will celebrate America’s birthday for two days! On the 3rd, hear Journey Unauthorized and catch a teaser fireworks mini-show. On the 4th, enjoy carnival rides, concerts, a BMX show, festival food and beer and firework displays.

Laugh It Off Comedy
Eagles Hall Roseville; Sat 8pm-10pm
Got plans after the 4th of July? Laugh off those calories gained on the 4th at this comedy showcase featuring some of the area’s best local standup comics.

Boom goes the dynamite:
Celebrate our nation’s birthday at one of these local firework shows.

Sacramento Independence Day Celebration
Cal Expo; Fri 5pm
Come and enjoy the largest annual fireworks show in the region! This year’s event brings Chris Gardner Band, a new kids festival area, and even more food and fun!

Fourth on the Field
Raley Field; Fri 6pm-10pm
Celebrate the USA’s birthday at the ballpark! Bring your blankets and grab a spot on the field for food, fun and — of course — a killer fireworks show.

4th of July Fireworks
Placer County Fairgrounds & Event Center; Fri 9:30pm
The City of Roseville will light up the night with this free show at the Fairground’s grandstands.
